Norwich is about 12 miles to the north. property consists of working hay fields, overgrown golden rod fields, plantation spruce, hemlock knolls and hardwoods. The hunting lease has a great trail system. I went 6 miles on my ATV (see photo). the lease has scattered apple trees along edges. The landowner has brushed-hogged many trails around overgrown fields and around and through spruce thicket. Property slopes uphill from the road. The TOPO shows 2 hill tops (SE corner and NW corner). You have a nice bottom between these 2 hills with several nice benches. There are trails in around the bottom and on these benches. The SW corner is a great looking bedding area-overgrown golden rod and a few scattered pine. Beautiful looking property that will hunt huge! ATV use is authorized for hunting purposes only. You can post the property. No camping allowed. Bainbridge area is known for some really good bucks. Landowner showed me a picture from a game trail camera of a huge bear from a few years ago. Make sure you do not block the driveway when you park (yellow circle on TOPO).
